The Artsutanov and Pearson Prizes Entry Deadline Extended to May 31

The International Space Elevator Consortium (ISEC) has extended the deadline to May 31st for abstarcts for the initial 2010 Pearson and Artsutanov prizes. ISEC created these prizes to foster research about topics related to building a Space Elevator.

The 2010 Space Elevator Conference is a three-day conference to be held in once again in Redmond, Washington at the Microsoft Conference Center on August 13-15, 2010. The conference, focusing on all aspects of Space Elevator development, will engage an international audience of scientists, engineers, educators, managers, entrepreneurs, enthusiasts and students. 2010 Space Elevator Games

With LaserMotive winning $900,000 at the recent NASA Centennial Power Beaming Challenge, AKA the Space Elevator Games, there's still $1.1 million on the table to won. So Spaceward, the organizers are in the process of setting up the 2010 Games. Details to follow as soon as we have them.

The Vision
